Of all the personal undertakings in our domestic world, moving is almost universally agreed to be one of the biggest pains in the butt.
It's stressful. It's time-consuming. It's a lot of work. It's expensive. Let's face it: moving sucks - and there's lots of services out there to help with lifting, driving loading and unloading... but what about the rest of the hard stuff? Packing, organizing, labelling, prioritizing, purging, cleaning; it's a lot to worry about, especially when most of us can't just put the rest of life's responsibilities on hold.

This is where GIST comes in. We will work alongside you to figure out your individual moving prep needs and help out with the things that stress you out most, including:

Assessing and taking inventory of your things so you can figure out what to pack, what to keep, and - if necessary - what to let go of.

Playing the infuriating game of "box tetris". We can help make sure things are arranged and fit in a way that works.

Prioritizing and accounting for your daily needs, so you can still access what you need throughout the move - and pack what you don't!

Cleaning as you go. Nothing reveals the mess that hides in your home like the process of moving all of your things.

Rates start at $25/hour, and may vary depending on client needs - and, even if you don't need help with the moving process, we offer Move-Out Cleaning services so you can have peace of mind as soon as you're out. Move-Out Cleaning is up to white-glove standards that your landlord or buyer is probably looking for, and starts at $35/hour.
